What I think.
Billie Eilish makes this project feel insanely personal, like you're sitting right inside her head the whole time. When it hits, it really hits, the best tracks (including the Grammy winner) are gorgeous, sharp, and deeply introspective. Her vocals feel intimate and close-up, and the production leaves space for the emotions to breathe. But the weaker songs don't add much to the overall story and honestly could've been trimmed without hurting the album. Even so, the sequencing works, especially with the less memorable tracks placed together instead of interrupting the highlights. That contrast makes the highs stand out even more, even if the album feels uneven from start to finish. In the end, it's a good listen, just a little forgettable, with clear peaks and a few skips.
