What I think.
Florescence is basically Maisie Peters doing the same kind of thing she usually does, but doing it well. The album stays very much in her comfort zone, with that familiar emotional pop songwriting and bright, personal energy. It is not exactly surprising or super new, but it works because the songs are solid and her identity is clear.
