What I think.
Midnights feels like a quiet, late-night conversation you have when everyone else is asleep. It leans more on mood than big moments, focusing on overthinking, self-reflection and small emotional realizations. The production keeps everything smooth and cohesive, but the album can feel emotionally distant compared to her most impactful releases.
