What I think.
thank u, next feels like one of Ariana's most focused albums, and I think that is a big part of why it works so well. It has a very clear mood and identity from beginning to end, while still having enough variety to keep things interesting. Most of the album is incredibly strong, although there are a couple of weaker moments near the bottom that keep it from being completely consistent. Even so, the highs easily make up for them, and the project feels confident without trying too hard to prove anything.
