What I think.
The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess has some real gems that show how strong and unique Chappell Roan can be as an artist. The personality, the drama, and the pop moments really hit when they work. At the same time, there are quite a few weaker tracks that don't land as well and bring the overall experience down. The best songs definitely carry the album, but yeah... it's a bit inconsistent.
