She makes really generic songs that pretty much any artist could release, which makes it difficult to form a strong connection with the album. On top of that, everything sounds so similar... anyway. With lots of highs and lows, the standout tracks are “Dear God” and “Sports Car” (both singles), which shows Tate knows how to pick the most attention-grabbing songs to carry the album. Other tracks, like “Purple Lace Bra,” are pretty weak and almost go unnoticed.
