What I think.
SaWaDiKa is genuinely such a good song, and it really feels like the Lisa from the Old Testament, so to speak, finally came back. There’s something about her energy here that immediately reminded me of what made her so exciting in the first place. The song is fun, confident, and Lisa has so much charisma that she can make almost anything work. I really missed hearing her in something like this, where her personality feels like such a big part of the song instead of just being there to carry it. It feels much more natural for her, and honestly, she sounds like she’s having fun again. My only real problem is that the song is a little generic. There’s nothing super new or groundbreaking about the production, and you can definitely hear things here that have already been done before. But at the same time… there’s not much to do about that when the song is this fun. Sometimes generic pop is still good pop, and SaWaDiKa absolutely works for me.
